As a person seeking information online, you will no doubt have been subjected to a barrage of conflicting ideas. This inevitably leads to a total state of information overload, where your mind simply rebels by refusing to take in any more information.
There are ways to combat this information overload effect, and hopefully if you take my advice you will know how.
First log in to your email account and make a list of just how many marketer’s lists you are currently subscribing to. I bet it is at least ten, and I guarantee not more than two will be offering you anything but conflicting advice. If you want to deal with information overloads debilitating effects, you need to go through these useless people unsubscribing from their lists. Don’t get me wrong, if following their advice is helping you, then by all means continue. The truth is if you get told to do one thing five different ways, you will end up doing nothing but feeling confused.
The problem with the internet today is that anybody can proclaim themselves an expert, and anybody can use Photoshop to manufacture proof. Information overload often occurs when five supposed experts tell you there is only one method that will work, but they all pick a different method. I recommend you whittle this list of supposed experts down to just a few contenders for your attention, and then don’t subscribe to anyone else’s list.
Yes the internet is a great source of knowledge, but it is also a great source of misinformation. The main tip I can tell you in your goal to escape information overload, is to simply focus on one thing. Mark out your goals and the tasks along the way that you need to do to achieve these goals, and then don’t get distracted. Information overload is only caused because you are trying to follow to many peoples advice at the same time, so stop listening to them, and just focus your efforts in one area.
I know what your thinking, if you are suppose to stop listen to supposed experts, why not start with me. At least you are catching on, but the truth is I am not another internet marketer peddling plop, but someone who has realized that helping his readers is the true key to success. I don’t suggest you listen to me exclusively as that would be silly. I may not be even talking about the issues that help your primary goal, but I will at least be on your side. I recommend you go through your email inbox and cross off anyone who has forgotten that they are supposed to be helping you, and in this way you should be able to lesson the effects of information overload.
Trust me I know what it is like. When I first started out I was going in every direction at once, and arriving nowhere. It was only when I learned that all these peoples supposed advice amongst sales pitches only offered me information overload and paralysis, that I crossed them off and concentrated on building a real business. Hopefully you will learn the same lesson soon, as you to many people simply give up because of their confusion and information overload.

For anyone questioning whether or not the mindset you have while doing a task is actually important, this article will be for you. We will be looking at this issue in-depth, as this could be the difference between success and failure for many of you.
To start with we could look at the mindset of any successful business person, and you will immediately see, they did not count failure as an option. The problem is, that it is hard to know whether they succeeded because of this mindset, or whether it is a direct result of the success they have had.
Obviously a person will feel optimistic and enthusiastic after their plans succeed, but what were they like before they succeeded. This is an argument I have several times, so we are going to look at this, and try and work out the truth.
If at the start of their career, a now successful person had not believed they would succeed. I suspect they would not have tried to succeed. However some people do make a half hearted attempt, and it really is these people we are talking about.
All the big success stories you hear, are from people who have achieved big things. They did not necessarily have an easy time, but they did have a plan to reach for the top, and in their case it worked.
I would theorize that had they not had a 100% belief that they would succeed, then their basic mindset would not have allowed them to try something so large.
They would have instead attempted to make just enough and hoped it would work. And of course with this mindset, they would have doomed themselves from the start.
If you totally believe you will succeed, then hard work is not hard work, it is merely a means to an end. If however you just hope to make enough to survive till next week, you already have sowed the seeds of your failure. If you work without belief, you will not work hard, at least this has been by my observations.
The mindset in fact becomes the reality, as without the channel for future success to arrive by, it stopped in its tracks. Your mindset truly is the means by which you allow your future to happen.
Once you understand that, it becomes time to change your mindset, and to allow a different set of possibilities to unfold.
I will try and refrain from delving into the law of attraction, or indeed quantum mechanics. However you should be aware that it is now widely excepted by the scientific community, that thought alone can put pressure on the reality around it.
Sounds crazy doesn’t it, but you may have heard of the quantum computer. The incredible things they are achieving in this field are entirely made by a machine attempting to copy the human brains electro-magnetic field. So you could say, how come a quantum computer operating as a mere facsimile of a human mind, can do things a real human mind can’t.
A recent example was when a tiny particle was sent two second backwards through time, to the partner machine. When asked why a human mind with the same fields of energy could not perform the same task, the scientist running the experiment said, “Probably because we know we cant” and smiled.
So one answer could be the mindset. Seriously a computer could not know doubt or hesitation. Could it be that these things alone, are truly all that hold us back from our real potential. Without fear, doubt or hesitation having any place within your mindset, what do you think you could achieve?

Do You Have What It Takes To Be Successful?
Well do you…..?
Everyone wants to go around and say they are successful and of course everyone really wants to be successful but do you have to have the right ingredients to actually be successful?
What is success? Success can mean alot of different things to different people depending on where you come from. For some success is graduating high school, some graduating college may be successful to them. Some people want to make partner at their law firm and that spells success to them and some people want to be financially stable or build a family. Whatever success means to you without the proper mindset and focus you will never get anywhere.
So What Does It Take To Be Successful?
Well first you have to jump off the couch and get motivated. It feels so good and it’s alot safer to sit around and dream about what you are going to do and talk about what you are going to do, but if you dont get up and take action you will stay on that couch forever. Yes dreaming is good, but it’s not if you are not putting your thoughts to full action. Don’t sit around and tell everyone what you are going to do, JUST DO IT!!! There is no need to sell yourself by continous non productive talk. When you talk alot, but nothing ever happens people begin to notice and no one will take you seriously if you ever do really kick it in gear.
Once you finally decide to get up, it’s time to set some clear and attainable goals to reach. In the internet marketing world this may be to post something in your blog everyday or build your website, or publish an article in a directory. Maybe you have a goal that you want to have so many people in your list by a certain date. Whatever the case, set yourself clear goals and be sure that you are writing them down and meeting them on a daily basis. Reaching your goals on a daily basis is the building blocks of future success.
Absorb your industry knowledge!!! There are many different ways to make money on the internet, but if you dont properly know how to apply the principles you will never get past first base. You have to learn, learn, learn and absorb all the knowledge about your industry, your business and the customer you serve. Failure to know your industry will lead to self desctruction. As I’ve said before get on the list of people that are successful in your industry and find out what they do best..it’s okay to steal that knowledge. Read books, I especially like books that help to develop your mindset, your mindset is what keeps you going in the right direction. Become an expert in your field, which in turn increases your confidence.
With all that reading you may think you are becoming overwhelmed. Well dont get overwhelmed!! Once you start learning techniques on marketing try to focus on one technique at a time. See how that works out and see if it is your best marketing avenue. You may find that a particular way of marketing is not for you, well thats great, that means you can move on to the next technique and you dont waste your time on your weaknesses. Find your strong points and exploit them. Once you get good at a particular technique then you can start adding on another technique one at a time. Don’t move to quick you want to get this right!
Be consistent and do not accept failure!! This is why so many fail in the internet marketing industry. Yes it seems so easy and you think you can just jump in and make millions right? Well that’s completely wrong and money doesnt just come over night in this industry. You have to be patient and keep at the little things so you can build your internet empire. Consistently do productive things and your business will get where you want it to be sooner than later. The key thing is to not accept failure. It may take you over a year before you notice that your business is starting to move somewhere, it may take even longer.
Dont let the money make you? There are countless people that market on the internet and when they make their first commission check, they lose that warrior mindset that they had in the beginning. They start to slack up and not do things on days they should have and lose all productivity that they once had. Just because you may have made your first $100, or $1,000 or even $10,000 doesnt make you invincible. You still have to stick to the basics and never lose sight on how you got where you are. Stay humble it will pay off in the long run.

Your business name is one of those decisions that feels monumental It’s like naming your first kid. It’s a representation of who you are, what your goals are and what you are trying to accomplish. Additionally your domain name will be a powerful marketing tool that will represent your business. You may like the name Jerry’s Store as the owner but to potential customers it may not communicate what your business is about. It doesnt create a sense of uniqueness and may not interest your niche market. What is in Jerry’s store?
Take your time and come up with a business name that feels right and mixes in good with your business niche or your theme. When your visitor sees your website name you want them to already have an idea of what your website content will be about before even visiting your website. Another way to say it is to give away as much information about your business in your domain as possible.
For example, if your name happens to be Jim Green and you own a shoe store then www.jimgreenshoestore.com would be much more appropriate and informative than www.jimgreen.com. Keep your domain name short somewhere around 13 to 15 characters since shorter domains stay in people’s minds. It also limits the chance for misspelling while typing in your domain name.
Try to implement your keywords into your domain name if possible. It will help increase your search engine rankings because your domain name is one of the first places search engines like Google and Yahoo look when they are indexing your website.
Don’t use any special characters in your domain name like apostophres and hyphens because this to affects your rankings and it is harder for people to remember.
In addition to choosing a name that fits your business and utilizes strategic keywords, there are a few more considerations.
* Keep it easy to remember.
* Make it unique.
* Make it easy to spell
* Make sure it is available
On another swing of things you may wonder whether or not a .com domain name is better than others such as .net .org .tv .us and so on? Well .com sites are easier to remember and they offer more credibility. Having an extension that’s easy to remember is always better for business!!
After choosing your domain the next step is to get it registered. Domain names are snatched up quickly so be sure to get the domain name you want a.s.a.p. so it wont be taken.
To Your Success!!!
